Description
Genuine Toyota P610 hybrid transaxle for the fourth-generation Prius, ZVW50 chassis. The P610 replaced the P410 for the XW50 platform: Toyota moved MG1 and MG2 onto parallel shafts rather than a single coaxial shaft, which shortened the unit, cut internal friction by roughly 20 percent and dropped about 20 lb of mass.
Before ordering, confirm you have a P610. Check for FU as the 7th and 8th characters of your VIN, or look for P610 on the driver’s door-jamb sticker. The P410 and P610 are not interchangeable.
