Description
Genuine OEM nickel-metal hydride traction battery for the fourth-generation Toyota Prius, ZVW50 chassis. Toyota moved this pack out from under the cargo floor to beneath the rear seat on the XW50 platform, which dropped the center of gravity and freed up trunk space. Every pack we ship is capacity tested module by module, rebalanced, and reassembled with cleaned bus bars.
Critical: check your chassis code. ZVW50 is the NiMH car. ZVW51 is the lithium-ion car. The two packs are not interchangeable and swapping them will not work. Your chassis code is on the door-jamb sticker.

A refundable core deposit of $500 is charged at checkout and refunded in full when your original pack is returned to us within 30 days, complete and undamaged, in the crate this one ships in.
Warranty
12-month unlimited-mileage warranty on the pack, from date of delivery. Extended terms up to 60 months are available – contact us for pricing.
Shipping and handling
High-voltage traction packs ship freight on a pallet, Class 9 handling, signature required. We ship to commercial addresses and licensed repair facilities only. No international shipping.
High-voltage safety
This is a high-voltage hybrid component. Removal and installation must be performed by a technician qualified in hybrid/EV service, using the correct isolation procedure and personal protective equipment.
